In pensiero. Come titolo per una rivista suona strano, ma ha il pregio di essere chiaro: dice subito di un essere in pensiero e insieme allude a un movimento, a un essere in pensiero. Del resto in certe epoche per essere in pensiero occorre essere in pensiero, o viceversa per far ripartire un pensiero bisogna sapersi preoccupare di cosa lo sta trattenendo. A una rivista di arti e di linguaggi, che vuole proporre e promuovere opere e saggi che toccano il presente, questo pensiero non può che presentarsi come un groviglio di fili intrecciati e inestricabili. Ecco, con questa rivista vogliamo provare a tirare qualcuno di questi fili, provare a seguirli, riconoscerli nominarli, consapevoli che pur adottando approcci molteplici, questi fili non scioglieranno tanto facilmente i loro nodi. Ma quello che più conta è sollecitare questi nodi e questi fasci di problemi, rintracciare i segni che si lasciano intorno, magari riuscire a incontrare quel tanto di inatteso e impensato che si deposita intorno a noi. Per questa ragione i primi 4 numeri di «In pensiero» seguiranno quattro di questi fili, o meglio di questi fasci di fili, intrecciando, come si intrecciano le domande nello slancio di una ricerca, il problema dello spazio, di come lo abitiamo e lo pensiamo; il problema della voce e delle voci, dell’oralità come risorsa non mediata; il problema dell’identità e della dis-identificazione rispetto a esperienze vecchie e nuove di alterità; il problema di come si costruisce oggi l’immagine o l’immaginario del cosmo in cui viviamo, o vorremmo vivere.
Questo primo numero, pur tirando in forme e con mezzi diversissimi tutti i 4 fili, si concentra in particolare su uno, riunendo opere e saggi che da angolature eterogenee indagano il problema dello spazio, chiedendosi se siamo noi a abitare lo spazio, a formarlo e a pensarlo, o se è lo spazio che ci abita, che ci forma, che ci pensa.
Tutti questi fili li tireremo attraverso opere di discipline e di media diversi, come canzoni, poesie, video, fotografie, racconti, dipinti, saggi senza fare distinzione d’uso tra il volume cartaceo e il dvd che gli è allegato.
Che dire di più, buona lettura, buona visione e buon ascolto.
In pensiero. It sounds strange as the title for a review, but it has the merit of being clear: it touches immediately on concern and at the same time alludes to a thought that wants to move and develop. What is more, in order to care, in certain periods we need to set our thoughts in motion once more; while to be able to set a thought pattern free, we must first concern ourselves with what is stopping it and holding it back. This thought, within a review on arts and languages which aims to propose and promote works and essays that touch the present, cannot present itself as anything other than a tangle of intertwined and inextricable threads. So there it is: with this review we intend to pull at some of these threads, to try to follow them, to be able to give them a name, aware, throughout, that it will not be easy to untangle the threads and loosen their knots, even using many different and complex approaches.
But the most important thing is to shake up the threads and bundles of questions, to trace the marks that they leave and perhaps to succeed in finding that unimagined and unthought-of “something” that lies around us. With this in mind, the first four issues of “In Pensiero” will follow four of these threads, or rather four of these bundles, and shall weave together the problem of space, of how we inhabit it and how we think about it; the problem of the voice and voices, of orality as an unmediated resource; the problem of identity and of dis-identification with regards old and new experiences of alterity; the problem of how we construct images today and the imagination of the cosmos in which we live or would like to live.
This first issue, although it pulls all four threads in varying ways and forms, concentrates on one question in particular, compiling works and essays that delve into the problem of space from different angles, posing the question of whether we inhabit, shape and invent space, or whether it is space that inhabits, that shapes and that invents us.
We shall tug at all these threads through works covering various disciplines and media, such as songs, poetry, videos, photographs, sories, paintings, essays with no distinctions made between the paper volume and the attached DVD.
